Helaas, gitarist Eddy is weer verdwenen. Volgende week is hij er weer, maar nu gaan we weer lawaai maken met Nancy & J.Hierdoor is dit de eerste J-plaat die me echt waanzinnig teleurstelt. En niet alleen doordat Eddy er onverwacht niet bij is, ook van een titel als Modern Dances (T.S Eliot!) verwacht je meer. Wel grappig trouwens dat in dezelfde bundel van Eliot waarin "Modern Dances" ter sprake komt (Prufrock), ook een gedicht over Aunt.. Nancy staat. Allemaal toeval natuurlijk. 11 nummers, 8 grinnikende noise-tracks en 3 matige akoestische werkjes. Ja, ze hebben erg veel lol en het is af en toe ook wel grappig:
